Pray for Lil Nas X

Last week while I was in prayer the Lord began to show me many things that were happening to the people in the world. I saw crime, senseless murders, all manner of evils and the final judgment that awaited them. Then I saw an image of singer Lil Nas X, whose real name is Montero Lamar Hill. He wore a sky blue ballroom gown. There was no wig or makeup on his face. Just the gown. He stood poised as if posing for a swarm of paparazzi on a red carpet event.

After the vision faded the Holy Spirit said.

“Pray for him. He has bargained his soul for fame and fortune. His advisors have told him that if he courts controversy then he will be far more famous. It is the means to quick fame. People must be talking about you. Good or bad. It does not matter. Everything will work in your favor.”

“When you do anything for money you are selling your soul to the Devil.”

“If He dies in his sins, he will go to hell.”

“Pray that he will turn from what he is doing.”

God’s desire is that no man should perish but that all will come to repentance.

While Lil Nas X is alive there is grace being extended for him. God wants him to realize the error of what he is doing. Our prayer can help him to come to the realization that the price of fame is not worth loosing his soul.

For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit his life [in the eternal kingdom of God]? (Mark 8:36)

The Lord Jesus loves Lil Nas X. However, he is a righteous judge. He does not turn a blind eye to sin. Whatever a man does he will reap the reward of it. Once we die there is no more time for repentance. You do not get to bargain with old Saint Peter when you reach the ‘pearly gates’ of heaven.

And just as it is appointed for [all] men once to die, and after that the [certain] judgment. (Hebrews 9:27)

The consequences of sin is death. Sin is sin before God. There is no other qualifier or modifier. It is a black and white issue without any grey areas. The person who steals, the one who perverts justice, oppresses his laborers, cheats on his wife, engages in human sacrifice, or pedophilia are all sinners before God. Failure to repent and stop sinning results in only one thing. God’s punishment for the sins committed. There isn’t a fame or popularity pass to heaven. There is no bargaining your way out of hell. It is not a vacation spot. You do not get the opportunity to take Satan’s crown while you vacation in hell. It is a place of eternal torment.

Vision of Hell

Many years ago while I was in prayer I was shown a vision of someone in hell. It started with my seeing just darkness all around me. I saw a very large black curtain before me. The curtains parted in the middle to reveal a thick clear glass wall. Behind the wall was a place of fire. The flames were alive. They burned on their own. Nothing provided fuel. In the middle of that place was a guy. He was naked. Flames covered his body. He screamed, twist and turned as the flames burned him. There was no place for him to escape. I watched this scene for a few minutes then it ended.

What I saw shook me to my core.

Then God began speaking to me.

“This is the boyfriend of (a friend). He was just murdered. He is in hell. Go warn him! So he does not go there. His life is in danger.”

That vision shook me to the core.

I called my friend and he confirmed that his boyfriend had been missing. The police were conducting a search but they had not found a body. Eventually the body was discovered and investigations proved that he was in fact murdered. For several months I was assigned to pray for my friend.

If God had not saved him in all likelihood he too would have been murdered. Not many of us are so lucky. We never know when our time will come.

My Plea

I do not know what may be the ultimate fate of Lil Nas X. I have seen God do miraculous things in my life and others. He is not beyond God’s reach. Please I urge you, let us keep him in prayer.
