God says Jump!

By the title you may be wondering if I am encouraging you to exercise this year. That may be good. I know that I do need it more than ever. But I am talking about taking a different exercise.

Last year I found myself in a conundrum. I was questioning the need to release a word from the Lord Jesus each year. I know major prophets release words each year but was this the path the Lord had for me. More than anything I wondered I asked these questions.

Was it biblical?

What does it do for the saints?

Does it help them to grow?

These were just some of the questions that I pondered. The more I considered these questions, the more I felt convicted not to ask the Lord for a word for the year. In my heart, I felt work was needed to strengthen the brethren. I was seeing too many saints getting regular prophetic words without any visible change in their life. I felt burdened to help them realize these promises.

Since 2015 it has become my custom to wait on the Lord Jesus, in fasting and prayer, for 40 days before Rosh Hashanah. I do not approach the process with a set agenda. I simply wait to see what the Lord will say to me. This last time when He met with me, I was NOT GIVE A NEW WORD. He simply reminded me of the words given at Rosh Hashanah in 2018.

“Discipline. Focus. Obedience and Loyalty.”

As the flurry of prophetic words were released by the prophets for 2020, I wondered if I had missed God. So I pushed pass what was in my spirit and asked God if He had a special word for the people.

This was his response to my question.

“Let the words given at the start of 2018-2019 guide you for the decade and many more years to come.

He further said this to me.

Tell them to Jump!

My people are not moving in faith. Too many are waiting to hear what will unfold for the year instead of stepping out in faith to do the things I have already instructed them to do.

Waiting to hear all that will unfold for the year is not walking by faith. That is fear. Faith has no fear.

The prophetic word is being used to mask fears. Too many saints are operating in fear instead of faith. They are afraid of the challenges they face. They do not believe I am able to give them victory. They do not believe Me at My word.

How many prophesies do they need?

So many have not gotten the fulfillment of prophetic words that they received several years ago.

It is time that they move on the Words. It is time that they walk with My Spirit.

I said they must be led by My Spirit. Not the Word of the Prophet (Romans 8:14).

Faith must be in My Word. Faith Must be in Me. Faith says I trust You (God) in ALL things.

This is a decade of promises being fulfilled. I need my children to arise in faith. It is time for them to claim the promises. It is time for them to see fulfillment in their life.

I need them to trust Me at my Word. I need them to know that I do not lie. I am truth. I am holy and righteous. All good things come from Me. I am with you. You shall not fail!

Isaiah 60:1

Arise [from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you—rise to a new life]! Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you!

Romans 8:14-15

For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. For the Spirit which you have now received is not a spirit of slavery to put you once more in bondage to fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption [the Spirit producing sonship] in which we cry, Abba! Father!

Numbers 23:19

God is not a man, that He should tell or act a lie, neither the son of man, that He should feel repentance or compunction [for what He has promised]. Has He said and shall He not do it? Or has He spoken and shall He not make it good?
