It is hard to imagine that we are crafted from a primordial cell that just evolved into a being capable of thought and reasoning. Things may happen around us but we may decide how we react emotionally. Of the animals on the planet we are the only ones who may exercise our will in any situation. Our design is so intricate that despite the efforts of scientists they have not been able to duplicate the process.
If you should look at your fingerprint you will realise that they are all unique. Imagine for a moment the complexity of that design. Out of approximately eight billion people on the earth your fingerprint is unique.
We are God’s handiwork. He delights in us. David knew this very well. He said this as he reflected on the design of God for his life.
I will praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

Each of us are unique. There may be similarities in our looks but there is no one like us. There will never be another you. I love what TD Jakes said “when God created me He broke the mold”. He did in fact break the mold when He created you.
Society may use their own standards to try and group you but only one standard is important. That is God’s standard. He made you a unique expression of himself on this earth.
The circumstances of your birth may not have been ideal but God has a plan. His plan was made before you were conceived in the womb. That is the secret place that He created your spirit. Before it was sent to enter this world through the birth canal of the womb.
Every encounter, every moment you would face was factored into His plan. Success was guaranteed. All things would work for your good.
Be thankful for you are fearfully and wonderfully made. Embrace what God has said about you. Embrace who He has called you to be. Walk fiercely in that truth.
