The Narrow Way, Matthew 7:13-14 | Daily Meditation

13 “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. 14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.
~ Matthew 7:13-14

Our Savior calls us to walk the uncommon narrow path. We must leave the deceptive beauty of the broad gate and way.

Why is the way of the Kingdom narrow? There are very few things that one is required to observe. Very little really! Observation starts with maintaining a relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We must be willing to walk in obedience to see the fruit of His spirit-love grow in our life. You may say you make it sounds so simple but I still struggle with my walk. Why do I struggle? Our struggle comes when we are pulled away by our lusts. Our own desires that create a conflict.

But our God is so gracious that He gives us His strength to overcome. He gives us His power to endure. He gives us His favor, even when we do not deserve it. And no matter how many times we have messed up. He stills renews us. He still pardons us. He still calls us His own. His jewel that shall never be moved.
