On Thursday January 27, 2018 I had a prophetic dream that the Lord has told me to share.
In the dream I saw myself at a very large resort. The property had a wonderful blend of modern architectural design with several tropical plants. Many other trees and flowers adorned the property. The building had several levels. Flowers hung off the balconies at each level.
In the center of the hotel was a large pool. A child could comfortably wade in at the lowest end without any possibility of drowning. It was that shallow. As you walked into the water it got deeper. At the other end of the pool the water covered anyone that dared to venture that far.
It was very deep!
The water was crystal clear at its shallowest end and azure blue at its deepest end.
Several adults were standing around the pool. They were dressed in white tops and slacks. They chatted and exchanged pleasantries. Some people moved between groups while they spoke.
On of my cousin, an apostle, was among the people. He mingled with the various groups. I looked around for his wife, an apostle also, but she was not there. I instantly knew that she was sleeping. While I was watching them, two sisters came into the pool. I instantly recognized them as friends that I grew up with at the Methodist church in Jamaica. Both went into the water until it covered their shoulders.
Several youths were with them. The youths were of various ages. Some were teenagers. Some were just children. All of them swam out into the deep water. They were laughing and playing games in the water. No one was alarmed or considered the possibility that they could drown. It seemed like the most natural thing to do.
I suddenly remembered that I had somewhere to go and walked into another room. Several youths filled that room. They were having a wonderful time. Lots of food were provided. Several baked bread were on these tables also.
As I contemplated on the vision the Lord said this to me.
The pool represents the anointing. The people at the edge of the pool represents saints who have been in church for a long time, they are of various titles and standing in the church. They are too familiar with the anointing. They have built camps around it but do not venture out into the depths.
The sisters from the Methodists church represents people from the traditional churches. Many of them have been seeking me. They do not know what they are looking for. Their heart yearns for change but they do not know what it is they are seeking. I will visit them.
I will release a fresh move of my spirit among them. They will not be afraid to venture out into the deep things of the anointing because they are not familiar with it. They will welcome the new move of My Spirit.
The children in the pool are the youths that will receive the anointing. I will pour out my spirit on them. They will experience a mighty move of My spirit among them that shall bring the adults to jealousy.
I will feed them with the Word. They will not simply be filled with my spirit and not be directed by the Word. I am using them to shame and provoke the adults who have become familiar with my anointing.
For too long they have taken my glory for granted. They have become too comfortable. Many do not realize that significant change is coming. They are too comfortable in the old.
Please make every effort not to miss the move of God. Let him search your heart and your commitment. Do not allow the passion for the Lord Jesus Christ to become lukewarm or cold. God hates lukewarmness with perfect hatred.
“I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. 16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. 17 Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked— 18 I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.
– Revelations 3:15-18
Please, stir up the passion! Do not be contented to remain at the same level. There are far more things in God than we have experienced. Continue pressing into God.
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
– Hebrews 11:6
